Beautiful blue and white fused glass clock with large red hands. This is a statement piece where ever you want to display - weather you hang on the wall or keep in the iron stand. Battery operated.
The clock measures 10 inches round. In the stand it is 14 inches tall.
Can be displayed upon a table top, mantle or can be removed from stand and hung upon the wall.
This clock is made of fused glass. Beautiful fancy blue and white swirl glass from the fuser reserve collection. This was hand cut in a circle which is very difficult! This clock took multiple firings starting with the clock base. A 10 inch clear glass with the decorative glass was stacked and fired in a full fuse schedule. The white dots were hand made during a seperate firing.
After the 8 hours of firing and the 10 hours of cooling, the clock face went back in the kiln with the 1/2 marbles positioned at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock and fired again on a tack fused schedule taking another 8 hours and cooling for 10 hours.
Once cooled, a hole was drilled in the center to accomodate the clock hands.
AA battery not included. Item will be shipped with the hands removed from the clock to eliminate damage. Very easy installation required. Instructions will be included.
